Kevin McEwen is an educator, cultural folklorist, consultant, and project manager with nearly three decades of experience bridging the worlds of dance, education, and community engagement. As the founder of the Kofago Dance Ensemble and Executive Director of the Kofago Institute, Kevin has built a career rooted in the power of the African Diaspora to educate, inspire, and transform communities. His lectures and workshops draw from a global perspective shaped by cultural exchanges and performances in Senegal, Haiti, Uganda, and across the United States. Kevin’s expertise extends from arts-based non-profit consulting and program design to leadership development, professional growth, and culturally responsive pedagogy.
